Dr. Annie Chou in the news: The Daily Scan

On behalf of St. Paul's Hospital Heart Centre, Dr. Annie Chou organized and hosted the inaugural Public Cardiology Education Day on November 8, 2019. Together, we learned about different heart conditions from expert Cardiologists, about emotional health with a Heart Centre psychologist, and about the best diet for our heart with our cardiac dietitians. During the lunch hour, we had a heart-friendly Mediterranean lunch and there were booths to check blood pressure with our cardiac nurses, chat with cardiology doctor trainees, and learn about nutrition with our dietitians, as well as a meditation retreat with our life coach. The day ended with door prizes and a silent auction, but most importantly, with empowerment to take control of your heart health.
